Nets trading for D12?
Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard can opt to become a free agent next summer and the general consensus is that he’ll do just that. In case the Magic want to unload Howard now and move on to the next stage in their history, the New Jersey Nets are ready to offer center Brook Lopez and two first-round picks for him, according to ESPN.

Chandler expects to leave Mavs:
Tyson Chandler expects to leave the Dallas Mavericks during the free agent period. “I really think I’m going to be on a new team come trainig camp. While the Clippers would an alternative choice for Chris Paul if he is unable to end up with the Knicks, the team’s preference is to pursue Dwight Howard by all means necessary say sources.

The Clippers will do everything they can to acquire Howard short of trading Blake Griffin.

Howard and Paul are members of the 2012 free agency class.

Reports in Spain suggest that Rudy Fernandez plans to ask the Dallas Mavericks for a buyout that would allow him to continue playing with Real Madrid this season, but the rumors were shot down by a reliable source. “Rudy Fernandez’s plan is to join the Mavericks next week and play with them this year,” the source said. “Asking for a buyout is not an option at this moment at all. Dalmbert to Miami or New York?

Miami is where more than 50 of his relatives live and is about one hour south of his home in Boca Raton. As for the volunteering part, Dalembert likely would require a big pay cut to join the Heat, which will be over the salary cap.
