You can love him or hate him but you won’t be able to affect him either way. You can criticize his game or embrace it, but that won’t affect him anyway. He’s one of a kind and that’s why we call him The Chosen One. In this article, I’ll try to mention all of his career achievements and awards throughout his first eight years in the league, but I’m sure I’ll be missing something.

How hard do you think it is it to carry the load for a team that went from best to worst in the league after the league’s best player leaves that team? Well ask J.J. Hickson, because that’s what everybody expected the 23 year-old Atlanta native to do for the Cleveland Cavaliers when LeBron James decided to take his talents to Miami last summer.

I remember the first time I saw the big guy on YouTube. In the first video I watched, he was thrashing opponents in high school. The second one just amazed me when he won the 2007 McDonald’s All-American Slam Dunk Contest in his senior year at high school. By now, all of you should have at least heard about that skinny 6-1 point guard leading the “Shamrock show”. Rajon Pierre Rondo, aka “The Clinic”, has improved his skill-set every season since entering the league out of the University of Kentucky in 2006. If you’ve ever seen the 25 year-old point guard of the Boston Celtics play, you have to admit that you were amazed.

Greg Monroe had a solid rookie season for the Detroit Pistons and finished 6th in the Rookie of the Year voting….WAIT! Stop right there! Does that 6th place sound good to you? huh? Most of you might not have noticed, but this guy had a quiet but extremely promising rookie campaign, and 6th place is a pure snub! I mean come on! Okay, some of you are probably having problems understanding why I’m so furious about that 6th place
